The Broadway star has lost nearly 50 pounds since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Winokur shared that she embarked on her current weight loss journey partly because she is “high risk” when it comes to contracting the coronavirus, but also because it gave her “something to focus on” amid the lockdown.

“If you have been following my [stories] you know how hard I have been working out with Keith Anthony to get healthy. Truth Covid scares me. I checked off all the boxes, I am HIGH RISK !” she began the post, alongside several photos showing her transformation.

Winokur continued, “So I started working out at home with Keith via zoom classes and eating healthy to have a fighting chance. In all honestly I also needed something to focus on have a goal . 6 months later I have lost almost 50 pounds. We have been here before. I was scared to post photos, it’s really one day at a time for me when it comes to food. But I thought, Covid isn’t over we are all sitting ducks maybe I could inspire someone ANYONE to chose to fight!”

She added that the results of her fitness journey have been tangible, sharing that she hasn’t “had asthma in months.” Working out has also helped alleviate her anxiety, she said.

She also told Yahoo Canada Lifestyle, “Stephen and I have been riding bikes outside together which has been really nice, or try and time our workouts together. It’s kind of like summer camp with Stephen and I both home, so we try and keep the kids active.”

I’ve been working so hard on my mental and physical health over the last 14 weeks. Reading, meditating, resting, working out, lifting heavy, Pilates, boxing, going to physical therapy for mobility and strength, getting sports massages, dry needling. My body at 35 feels strong and ready to dance. All I keep saying is “please don’t get sent home night one after all this work”. Hahah but I’m glad I have had the motivation to work towards something. I always think of myself as a hard worker, who also plays hard, and I’m just ready for this next chapter!!! You guys know I never post body pics but I’m proud. Drop a 🙌🏼 if you’re gonna use those little cute fingers to vote #DWTS (also I’m going to tag everyone who has helped me on this 14 week journey).

TikTok Star Charli D'Amelio Reveals Her Struggles with Eating Disorder: 'Some Days Are Worse Than Others'

Charli D'Amelio is opening up about her personal experience with an eating disorder.

The TikTok star, 16, revealed her "own struggles with eating disorders" in a lengthy post to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, explaining that she's "been afraid to share," but hopes her story helps inspire those who are grappling with body image issues to seek help.

"i've always tried to use my voice when it comes to issues surrounding body image, but I've never talked about my own struggles with eating disorders," she began. "it's so uncomfortable to admit to even your closest friend and family, let alone the world. i've been afraid to share that I have an eating disorder, but ultimately i hope that by sharing this i can help someone else."

"i know disorders are something that so many other people are also battling behind closed doors," D'Amelio continued.

The dancer went on to apologize to followers if she had ever played a song and "not realizing that those lyrics could have trigged [sic] you," saying that she had "never intended to cause you harm."

"for anyone that is struggling with this, i know some days can be worse than others," she said, sharing a link to the National Eating Disorders Association's website.

"i need you to know you are not alone. remember it's ok to reach out and get help," D'Amelio added. "we all need help sometimes. i love you all and please stay strong."

D'Amelio previously touched on her struggles with body dysmorphia and "bad eating habits" while discussing cyberbullying earlier this year.

"Some of the most hurtful comments I read about myself online are, ‘She’s fatter than when we got her famous,’ or ‘She’s ugly.’ They don't like the way my face looks for some reason," she said in a video to promote Safer Internet Day in February.

"A lot about my body shape, my body type, which hits close to home because I struggled a lot with body image, body dysmorphia, bad eating habits. No one really knows that," she continued. "It hurts for everyone no matter who you are. Getting hundreds of thousands of hate comments per week is a lot to handle."

At the time, D'Amelio wrote on her Instagram, "I've been bullied my whole life. That hasn't changed this past year. I'm sharing my story because I know many of you have one too."

"Hate hurts. I have realized over the years that holding in all this hurt causes a lot more damage than reaching out to someone you trust," she said. "No one can deal with this alone. We all need support."

I've been bullied my whole life. That hasn't changed this past year. I'm sharing my story because I know many of you have one too. When you're bullied online it follows you everywhere, at school, in your home, all the places you're supposed to feel safe. It can feel as if there is nowhere to turn. Hate hurts. I have realized over the years that holding in all this hurt causes a lot more damage than reaching out to someone you trust. For me, it was Dixie and my mom and dad. No one can deal with this alone. We all need support. So when @UNICEF asked if I wanted to support #SaferInternetDay, I didn't think twice. They've answered the most popular questions about online bullying — from knowing the difference between a joke and if someone is trying to hurt you, to how to help a friend who is being trolled. We need to open up about the tough parts of growing up online. Tap on the link in my bio to learn about the support that is out there. Let's be kind and build each other up. #ENDviolence

In May, D'Amelio opened up to PEOPLE about dealing with negativity online, saying, "I feel the more I talk about it, the more normalized it is for people to open about their feelings."

"If I'm talking about it and they know that this bothers me and they are going through a similar thing, maybe at school, just showing people that it's okay to have feelings," she said. "It's okay to not be 100% all the time."

Dancing with the Stars Judge Len Goodman Reveals He Had Skin Cancer Removed from His Face

According to the Mayo Clinic, "You can reduce your risk of skin cancer by limiting or avoiding exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation."

It's also important to pay attention for any "suspicious changes" as "early detection of skin cancer gives you the greatest chance for successful skin cancer treatment."

In July 2019, Goodman opened up to Hello! magazine about how he maintains an active and healthy lifestyle. He said he begins each day with a "nice, gentle stretch" and visits the gym two times per week.

"I go to the gym twice a week – I don't go for long; I go for about half an hour, that is all. I do a little bit of cardio on the cross trainer, or I have a little row, but I don't break into sweat, I might get a bit hotter," he said at the time. "I lift very light weights … and I find that is nice; I play golf too. Gentle exercise is good too, and walking is fabulous."

Goodman also detailed how he deals with aches and joint pains, saying: "Over the years, I had a few surgeries. I have had a knee replacement and a shoulder operation, and as you get older you get more aches and pains that are harder to shake off."

Former Chopped Junior Champion Fuller Goldsmith, 16, Beats Cancer for the Fourth Time

Now, as he remains in remission, Fuller plans on attending culinary school and apprenticing under a top chef, according to the family. He hopes to open two restaurants in the future.

“It’s really rewarding to see kids like Fuller who are so driven toward their dreams that they don’t let cancer stand in their way,” Dr. Rebecca Gardner, one of Fuller’s oncologists at Seattle Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center, said. “They are undeterred in their desire to have a future.”

After returning to Alabama, Fuller has been documenting culinary creations on social media amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

In recent weeks, the teen shared photos of several pasta dishes, as well as a shot of a pan seared steak with roasted potatoes and mushrooms.

Calvin Harris Says His Heart Stopped in 2014: 'Interesting Year for Me'

Calvin Harris needed lifesaving help in 2014 after his heart stopped.

The DJ and singer revealed on Twitter that he had to have his heart “restarted” in the emergency room.

Harris retweeted a video on Tuesday night from his June 2014 performance at the Electric Daisy Festival, and added that it was an “interesting year.”

“Started with me knocking myself off number 1 in the UK and ended with my heart getting restarted in the ER…this sort of stuff happened in between,” he said.

Harris had hinted at his condition that year, but hadn’t previously said that his heart had stopped. Rather, the “Slide” singer said that he had “some heart problems” that needed to “be fixed” and were the reason why he canceled several shows.

He later clarified that he had an arrythmia, a heart condition that causes an irregular heartbeat and can lead to chest pain, fainting and dizziness.

That pushed him to give up drinking, he said on Twitter in 2018.

“Haven't drank in 4 years big man,” Harris told a fan who asked why he was abstaining from alcohol. "Aye things are a bit less fun but haven't had an arrhythmia since 2014.”

But Harris said he’s happy with the decision.

“The last thing I want to do is down 2 bottles of jack daniels a night, live on greggs pasties and sleep on an absolutely stinking bus all year, scream down a mic for 55 minutes and pretend to play a keyboard 5x a week those days are behind me son,” he added to the fan.
