Goop Just Dropped Their First Vibrator & It Sold Out Almost Immediately

Leave it to Gwyneth Paltrow and the folks at Goop to use her quarantine time to make something weird and wonderful — launching on on Monday their first-ever vibrator, a double-sided wand with a distinct and fancy silhouette. And, shocking no one in the sex toy world, it sold out almost immediately.

The (okay, deeply complicated) wellness brand has been recommending and selling vibrators for years (if that gold $15k one rings a bell for anyone), but this is their first foray into designing and releasing a toy of their own. In their announcement, the brand spilled the details on their toy design, why it appealed to them and what users can expect from their Goop-designed toy.

We made our Double-Sided Wand Vibrator because we love the control a wand provides—but we wanted more,” they wrote. “One end of the Double-Sided Wand Vibrator is the ultimate wonder-ball wand for external massage. The other end is slim for targeted stimulation. Each side features eight different pulsating patterns with varying intensities. And yes, we also wanted it to be the most beautiful vibrator—something you’d leave on your nightstand as a functional objet d’art, if that’s your thing.”

The vibe’s biggest sell is the two independent vibrating ends — offering the smooth and sleek internal and external vibrations and the perfectly round head for a rumbly wand experience. It also features a rechargeable battery (with a battery-life display so you won’t risk a lack of charge killing your vibes), is water resistant (hello shower sex!) and phthalate, latex and BPA-free.

Like we said, the vibe sold out fast in its first few days, but you can head over to Goop to get on the wait list and try it out for yourself. May good and goop vibrations be in your future!
